A couple of links...

Well, although it ended quickly, I'm not sure that it was completely as clean as we want to think:

Kerry Won, Here are the facts
Machine Error Gives Bush Extra Ohio Votes

Since over 100,000 voting machines were used in Ohio, and exit polls were WAY off to show Kerry leading, do you think it might be possible that more than this one machine fucked up? Hmmm...

It Begins...

This came up pretty fast...what will be next?

A divided country

Thought this was interesting from a foreign viewpoint:

BBC News: Election reveals divided nation

It's over....

It's over

Can't believe it. I'm pretty disapointed, Kerry just conceded. How more devided can this country get?

Election Day

Well, the day has come: Election Day 2004

So much is on the line today, let's hope the choice is in our hands, and not in the court's hands. I am hopeful that there are much more new voters than the polls could ever show and I hope that tips the election. I have voted and now I must just wait for the results, I bet tonight will be a long one. Half of me wants to watch all night and half doesn't. Maybe I'll write a song about tonight and record it. I need to start putting up some music that I've made on here...

Here are the links of interest today:

Sick at home but still working

Yesterday at work I got sick in my office. Thank heavens there is a garbage can in there. :( So I went home midday and this morning when I woke up my throat was on fire. No good. M works with 3 year olds, so this time of year is brutal with the office and the kids combined. Most importantly I didn't want to get anyone sick, as I suspect someone working while sick had something to do with it.

So I am dialed in today from home on the work laptop, already getting stuff done. Glad I can still keep up from home, and I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow.

The Genius Frank Zappa

I thought I would just take a moment to write about my interest with Frank Zappa. See, this guy is a goddamned genius. Although he is no longer with us on this Earth-ka-bob, he is still a genius to the day. His music in so many ways is so ahead of it's time. (the keyword is "so") He so inspires me in my guitar playing.

I recently saw Project Object, a Zappa Tribute band with a couple of ex-band members in it. Good stuff, although it was a a place called Dante's and it was not the best place for a show, I felt like I was at a bar and there just happened to be a band there playing music I loved. It was good and I got to say hello to a couple of the guys (I had met them once in Chicago), but not the best venue by any means. I did get to hear all kinds of great tunes, wish I had the setlist...

Please check out Frank Zappa, he is the best. Music is the best.

America....

Last night Rig, Jennifer, M and I went to see Team America: World Police. I laughed a lot, it was pretty damn funny in spots. America....FUCK YEAH! hahaha

It is sticking in my head today, the nest was when it was a sad moment and the "America, fuck yeah" song was all sad and slow... hahaha

Pretty good stuff.
